Call before you come. We're a small company and the office is empty when everyone is on a roof, which in this business is most good weather.
What to have ready
The address. It tells us more than you'd think — age of the neighbourhood, likely roof type, whether we've worked on that street before.
What you're seeing, and where. A stain on a ceiling, a tile on the lawn, a drip in the garage. Where in the house matters as much as what.
When it started, and whether it's getting worse. A stain that appeared after one storm and hasn't grown is a different conversation from one that spreads every time it rains.
Whether water is coming in right now. This is the one that decides the queue.
Photographs help, but don't climb anything to take them. From the ground and from inside is plenty.
After a named storm, expect honesty rather than speed. Everyone in Lee County calls a roofer in the same 48 hours. You'll get a realistic arrival window instead of a comfortable one, and if nobody can get to you the same day we'll say so rather than book you and not turn up.
We also won't door-knock your street afterwards, and we'd treat anyone who does with some caution. Why that matters
