A roofing company can put fifty city names in a footer in about ten minutes. It costs nothing and it looks like reach. What it doesn't do is get anybody to your house on a Tuesday when the ceiling is dripping.
Four cities is roughly what one office can cover while still being able to say yes to an emergency without rearranging the whole week. It also means we've seen enough roofs in each of them to know what the local failures look like — which communities share a builder's flashing habit, which streets got re-roofed in the same two years, where the salt gets to.
If you're in Lehigh Acres, Naples, Punta Gorda or anywhere else nearby, we'd rather tell you that on the phone in thirty seconds than take a booking we can't service well.
What Lee County has in common
Permits. Roofing work here is permitted work and the contractor files it. Unpermitted roof work surfaces later, usually at a sale or a claim.
The 2007 code line. Under s. 553.844(5), Florida Statutes, a roof built, repaired or replaced to the 2007 Florida Building Code or later only needs the repaired portion brought to current code. Roofs older than that can be forced into a full replacement once a repair passes 25% of a roof section. Permit history decides it.
The claim clock. One year to give notice of a claim, 18 months for a supplemental claim, running from landfall or the NOAA-verified date — s. 627.70132.

Do prices differ by city?
Not by postcode. They differ by access, roof complexity, material availability and what we find under the tile — which varies far more within a city than between them.
